Full Manuscript Evaluation

I offer a limited number of manuscript evaluations each month. A full manuscript evaluation is a short-term package that includes:

•  A close reading of your entire manuscript

• A detailed reader report, summarizing my evaluation and suggested next steps. My review will focus on story-level concerns, such as plot, character, emotion, clarity, etc. I am not trained as a line or copyeditor and do not offer these services.

• 1 (60 minute) zoom call to discuss my feedback

Typical turnaround time for a full manuscript evaluation is 4 weeks.

The cost of this package is determined by word count:

• Up to 85,000 words = $1300

• 85,000 to 100,000 words = $1600

• Over 100,000 words = $1600 plus a surcharge of $15/1000 additional words

Wordcount is determined by rounding up to the nearest 1000 words.
