Not sure if coaching is for you?
Start small with a 15-minute curiosity call, or a first chapter review.
What is a curiosity call?
It is a chance for you to meet me and learn more about what coaching is, how it works, and how it can help you.
A curiosity call is free
It is short - just 15 minutes!
There is no commitment that we will work together
The purpose of the call is to get to know each other. It does not include any review or diagnosis of your work.
To book a curiosity call, you will first complete a short questionnaire, so I can learn more about you and your work. I will follow up with instructions to schedule our call.
I can’t wait to meet you!
What is a first chapter review?
It is a smaller coaching package that can be an excellent fit for you if:
You aren’t sure yet that you want to commit to coaching
OR, You feel pretty good about the manuscript as a whole, but want professional feedback on your all-important first chapter before you begin submitting to agents.
The first chapter review includes:
Comments on the first chapter of your manuscript (up to 20 pages of standard manuscript formatting)
A one-page editorial letter summarizing my feedback on the first chapter, including suggestions for next steps
A 30-minute video call to discuss my feedback and suggested next steps.
Cost: $150
Please note that this is a developmental review and will focus on story-level issues such as plot, character, emotion, and pacing. I am not trained as a line or copy editor and do not offer those services.
